Cancellation and Refund Help

Identify who processed the purchase before cancelling a subscription or requesting a refund. Eligibility and timing are determined by that provider and applicable law.

Start With the Purchase Receipt

Check the confirmation email, store purchase history or billing statement. The receipt normally identifies whether the transaction was processed by Apple, Google Play or the web platform.

Cancellation and refund are different actions. Cancelling normally stops a future renewal; it does not automatically refund a completed charge.

Apple App Store Purchases

  1. Sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase.
  2. Follow Apple’s subscription cancellation instructions.
  3. For refund eligibility, use Apple’s official Report a Problem service.

Apple decides App Store refund requests under its policies and the rules applicable to your region.

Google Play Purchases

  1. Sign in to the Google account shown on the receipt.
  2. Use Google Play’s subscription management instructions.
  3. Use the official Google Play refund process when appropriate.

Uninstalling an Android app does not by itself cancel a Google Play subscription.

Web or Direct Purchases

If neither Apple nor Google appears on the receipt, use the billing or account-help route provided by the platform that processed the transaction. Include only the minimum information requested through its secure support channel.

Do not send a full card number, password or verification code through this informational website.

Unrecognized Charges

First check family accounts, alternate Apple or Google accounts and recent receipts. If no authorized user recognizes the charge, secure the relevant account and contact the payment provider or card issuer promptly using the number or website shown on an official statement.

Requesting billing help or exercising legitimate dispute rights should not be discouraged by threats of retaliation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does deleting the app cancel a subscription?

Not necessarily. Manage the subscription through the provider shown on the receipt. Google explicitly states that uninstalling an app does not cancel its subscription.

Does cancelling automatically create a refund?

No. Cancellation and refund requests are separate. Refund eligibility depends on the payment provider, timing, purchase details and applicable law.

Can this website approve a refund?

No. This informational site does not process purchases or access transaction records. Use the provider that handled the payment.
